Welcome to Dear Poppet, lovingly run from our little corner of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. By accessing or using our website (dearpoppet.com) or making a purchase, you agree to the following Terms of Service. We’ve tried to keep them clear and easy to understand—but they are legally binding, so please read them carefully.

1. Who We Are

Dear Poppet is an independent, handmade brand offering bows, bibs, scrunchies, pouches, gift boxes and more. The brand is owned by Dear Poppet Resources (SSM Registration No.: 202503111689). Our store is powered by Shopify, which helps us bring your shopping experience to life—but all purchases are made directly with Dear Poppet.

2. Using Our Website

You’re welcome to browse, shop, or create an account. Just please make sure:

  • You’re at least the age of majority in your country (or have permission from a parent/guardian).
  • You provide accurate information when making a purchase.
  • You keep your login details private and secure.

3. Handmade Product Disclaimer

Every Dear Poppet item is made by hand in small batches. This means:

  • No two items are exactly the same (and we love that).
  • Slight differences in pattern placement, size, or finish may occur.
  • Colours may appear different due to lighting or your screen settings.

These are not considered defects, but part of what makes each item special.

4. Orders

When you place an order, it’s an offer to purchase our product. We reserve the right to accept or cancel orders at our discretion (for example, if there’s a stock error or payment issue). You’ll receive an email confirmation once your order is accepted.

5. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are shown in MYR and may be subject to taxes or import duties depending on where you are.
  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on location.
  • Prices may change without notice, but confirmed orders will be honoured.
  • We accept most major payment methods through Shopify's secure checkout.

6. Shipping & Delivery

We pack each order with care and use EasyParcel to deliver via trusted couriers. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for full details.

Quick highlights:

  • Processing takes 2–5 business days (longer during launches/sales).
  • We are not responsible for shipping delays, customs holds or incorrect addresses.
  • Risk of loss passes to you once the parcel is handed over to the courier.

7. Returns & Refunds

We generally do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. However, if you receive a defective or incorrect item, we’ll make it right.

8. Your Feedback

We may use your reviews, testimonials or photos to help other customers learn about our products. By submitting feedback, you give us permission to share it—unless you tell us not to.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this site—images, text, logos, product names, etc.—belongs to Dear Poppet or our licensors. You are not to use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

10. Third-Party Tools & Links

Sometimes we link to other services or use tools provided by third parties (like payment processors or shipping trackers). We’re not responsible for their content, practices or reliability, so please use those at your own discretion.

11. Your Privacy

When you shop with us, we collect some personal information such as your name, email, address, phone number, and payment details to process and fulfil your order.

We promise to keep your information safe and only use it for:

  • Processing your purchases
  • Shipping your orders
  • Providing order updates
  • Customer support and service improvement
  • Occasional marketing emails (only if you've opted in)

We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

Your data may be shared with trusted third-party service providers like our payment processors, couriers (e.g. via EasyParcel), and Shopify for the sole purpose of operating our store smoothly. Since our store is hosted on Shopify, your data is also subject to Shopify’s Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of the state or territory where Dear Poppet is registered.
